IN-HOME & PRIVATE LESSONS
THE BEST WAY TO GO! Don't let anyone tell you that they can train your dog better than you can. If your dog is going to live with you then you need to know what it takes to maintain a healthy environment and continue to encourage good behaviors. Few other dog trainers offer the type of lessons that the Dog Lady does. If you are able to work with your dog, then in-home dog training lessons are the best way to start.
With in-home dog training lessons, The Dog Lady will come to your home to evaluate your dog and customize a dog obedience training program and problem solving sessions to fit your needs. She will train you to train your dog. Each problem lesson is 11/2 or more hours each. You will learn how to get control, teach your dog obedience commands and to understand how your dog thinks and perceives our world. You will learn all about the 4 element of raising a health well adjusted dog:
- Socialization
- Leadership
- Obedience
- Health
This will allow you to consistently control the home environment and your dog's behavior while creating a bond with your dog that will last a lifetime. The Dog Lady’s methods are based on animal communication skills that you can learn!
You can purchase one session at a time or purchase multiple weekly private classes at a discounted rate. And, with In Home lessons you can enroll all your dogs for the same price as one! Talk to The Dog Lady before you purchase other expensive private dog training packages that don't work.
GROUP LESSONS
The Dog Lady has custom group classes designed to fit your needs. We offer new puppy classes and beginning and advance obedience group lessons. The lessons may include obedience, socialization, distraction proofing and backyard agility exercises as well as preparation for Canine Good Citizenship testing and Therapy work. They are great fun for everyone and responsible children are welcome to join.
The Dog Lady can customize affordable group classes because you organize them! If you find two or more other dog owners that want classes with you; The Dog Lady will give group classes at your location. An easy way to get convenient, affordable training. It's really easy; talk to your friends, family or other dog owners at the dog park. You find two other dog owners and you have a group class at a location convenient to you!

What a great experience!
My husband and I adopted a 10 month old Great Dane a few months ago and quickly realized we needed HELP! I researched a few dog training options in our area (Fayetteville NC) and located 'The Dog Lady. Last night we finished our six week training session. I can not tell you how helpful Eleanor was in transforming our pulling, chewing, barking, and pacing, over baring Great Dane Max into a gentle giant. He walks like a prince on a leash, response to commands, chews on "his" toys and allows us all a bit of relaxation in the evenings.
It is apparent from the first moment Eleanor has the experience to fix your problems if you are willing to work hard and listen to your dog. She provides a very well rounded program that can be used for small dogs as well as large (or Giant like Max :). I would recommend her to anyone! I am glad she made the move to NC! |

About Dog Obedience Training For Companion Pets
In today’s world, our pets live indoors, have wardrobes, travel with us, and eat gourmet food. The Dog Lady occasionally does special in home board and train programs for dogs with severe problems. These programs are limited to dogs that will benefit by staying with The Dog Lady (in her home) for a period of 2 or more weeks. Occasionally an owner cannot offer the special environment it takes to solve problems that deal with severe anxiety, fearfulness or depression. These programs are designed to assist with these problems and they include private lessons for the owners both during and after the board and train period.

Wonderful trainer!
I called on the dog lady to help work with my puppy who was having severe biting and obedience issues. She worked with me and my dog one on one at my house to teach me how to handle him.
