Dogs are pack animals and, in a dog's world, a pack must have a leader. If you do not make a conscious choice to be the leader, then by default, your dog is. The Dog Lady will come to your home to evaluate your dog and customize a dog obedience program to fit your needs. She will train you to train your dog. Each lesson is approximately 2 hours. You will learn how to teach your dog all of the commands listed above and to understand how your dog thinks and perceives our world. This will allow you to consistently control the home environment and your dog's behavior while creating a bond with your dog that will last a lifetime. GROUP LESSONS
No need to take 3 or 4 levels of group classes at $100 - $200 per class! The Dog Lady's group lessons have an open enrollment, you can join anytime. A low one-time fee will give you access to group classes for the life of your dog. It starts with an evaluation of your dog making sure you can benefit from the group environment. Students are divided into groups according to their training level. The lessons may include basic obedience, socialization, distraction proofing, backyard agility exercises, and AKC Canine Good Citizenship testing. BOARD & TRAIN / DOGGIE BOOT CAMP "CHARM SCHOOL"
Weather you call it “Doggie Boot Camp”, “Doggie Charm School”, or "Doggie Fat Farm" It works. This is a program for pet owners who do not have the time in their schedule to practice, practice, practice and maintain the consistency required to change the behavior of delinquent doggies. Board & Train programs include basic obedience, socialization, health and weight loss, and problem solving. Each program is customized to fit the particular needs of your household and pet. The programs range from 10 day dog obedience training boot camps to 4 week dog training and rehibilitation in The Dog Lady's home. Each program includes lessons for training the handler (you), free Group Lessons for life, and AKC Canine Good Citizenship testing. Does this really work? You bet! This is a lifetime program "custom designed" for people with disabilities or special needs. Dogs require a minimum of 6 months of training. Trainers can also assist clients with picking the right dog. Our training methods meet the standards established by the Delta Society and Assistance Dogs International (ADI). Service Dogs are taught basic obedience, socialization/public access, distraction proofing, and specialized tasks designed specifically to enhance the lives of those they serve.
